...
The options -A and -t take a list of media types as argument (though only the
first is used for -t). Each member of this list now can be the symbolic identifier
listed in section 11.3 of draft-ietf-core-coap-08, an abbreviated token, or
an arbitrary numeric value from 0 to 254.

The main loop is left after a given timeout which defaults to 90 seconds. The new
option -B can be used to modify the timeout value.

API change to allow for post-processing of responses in handle_request().
...
A pre-defined response is passed as parameter to registered method handlers.
This change was required specifically to use method handlers to generate
observer-notifications.

support for target --with-contiki in configure
...
This target is to avoid accidential overwriting of hard-coded Makefile and
config.h by configure. When called with --with-contiki, the files
Makefile.contiki and config.h.contiki are copied to Makefile and config.h,
respectively.
